The Tea party stands for individual rights. That is all well and good. What they do no do, however, is follow those individual rights to their logical conclusions.
Individual rights carry with them individual responsibilities. For example, Tea Partiers do no want to be required to carry health insurance is they choose not to. They can do that. But when they become ill, which invariably happens, they think they should be able to avail themselves of the full power of the health care system which they originally rejected when they refused to purchase insurance. Well, then they must pay the full cost of whatever medical help they need as opposed to the lower copay that they would have needed to pay had they had the foresight to purchase insurance.
